We are in need of an AWANA secretary. The secretary is responsible for maintaining accurate records and inventory, as well as other administrative-type duties for the different AWANA clubs. We are once again collecting school supplies for the Rootstown school system to assist children who need help purchasing supplies. We have a basket by the Women's ministry table for you to place your donated items. A list of items needed is beside the basket. Your giving will bring smiles to the faces of many kids!

This ten-week class is open to men and women and will guide you in sound hermeneutical principles in order to effectively study the Bible for yourself. Children's Ministries is looking to fill a new Sunday School class, ages 3-4. We are in need of three teachers and two helpers to share in a rotation for this class. We are still in need of help in the nursery. If you are a member of GCOR and are interested in serving in the nursery contact Carly Ferrell or the office to get a Children's Nursery/Ministry Volunteer Application. All members seeking to serve in children ministries must complete and pass a background check.

The renovation downstairs is moving along. Painting is almost complete. New lighting and ceiling will be next, then flooring. Updated furniture will be part of the improvements. Thank you for your continued investment in the life of the church. Estimated cost is $18,000. We need recipes for our cookbook. Categories needed are as follows:

Appetizer/Snacks, Main Dish Casseroles/Crockpot Meals, Pasta, Meat Dishes, Vegetable/Sides, Breads, Salads, Cheese Dishes, i.e., cheese ball, spreads. Desserts, Cookies, Candy, Pet Treats, Fun Food, i.e., edible play dough. Recipes can be placed at the Worship Center, given to Kim Jackson, or sent to the office. Please include your name.
