This fall we will be studying the "one another's" in Scripture, using The One Another Woman, by Roberta Blakey. Choose your study day: Sunday evenings - Tuesday mornings - Thursday evenings.

We will provide you with more details as we get closer to the week of September 8.

We need help getting the crafts set up and ready for VBS. If you are interested in helping, we will meet in the Fellowship Hall, Wednesday, June 19, at 6:30 p.m., and the following Wednesday, June 26, at 6:30 p.m. Your help is appreciated. If you have any questions, contact Debbie Kaufman.

Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. we will have our Annual Community Picnic! All are welcome! Sign-up sheets can be found at the Welcome Center.

On November 1 and 2, Dr. John Street will join us as we host a biblical counseling conference. More information to come.

Collecting for VBS Crafts - Samples of what is needed can be found on the table outside of the Nursery for reference.

• White or clear containers (size does not matter)w/lids that a 4" circle will fit in. Qty needed is 20 by the end of June.

• Shells 2 - 2 1/2 ' wide Qty needed is 20 by the end of June.

• Coke or Pepsihalf-liter plastic bottles.

The bottle samples we have displayed is what we are going for, volcano shaped. Qty needed is 30 by mid-June at the latest. Please see Debbie Kaufman with any questions.

The Elders are asking the congregation to affirm Joe Simkanin as a deacon at Grace Church. Please review the biblical qualifications of a deacon in 1 Timothy 3:8-13 and if you have any concerns regarding this affirmation, you are asked to talk to Joe directly. If your concern was not satisfied following your conversation, take your concern to the Elders (Matthew 18:15-16). This period of affirmation will end on Sunday, June 23, with intent of presenting Joe as a deacon soon after.

Join us this Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We will be taking a two hour cruise on the GoodTime III through Lake Erie and the Cuyahoga River in Cleveland. The cost for the cruise is $27 over 60 and $32 if under 60. You may purchase your own ticket online or see Butch Wilhelm no later than today, Sunday, June 16.

Sunday, June 23, following the worship service we will have a brief meeting with the Greeters and the Security Team in the Fellowship Hall.

We need additional persons to help serve as part of the GCOR Security Team. Please consider serving our family of families in this very important role. Training will be provided. Contact the office if you are interested in serving.

We are still in need of help in the nursery. If you are a member of GCOR and are interested in serving in the nursery contact Carly Ferrell or the office to get a Children's Nursery/Ministry Volunteer Application. All members seeking to serve in children ministries must complete and pass a background check.

Renovation update! Painting has started! The AWANA office and side rooms all have fresh paint on the ceilings! New lighting, flooring, and updated furniture will be part of the improvements. Thank you for your continued investment in the life of the church. Estimated cost is $18,000. If you desire to give toward this project, you can do so online by selecting "Capital Improvements" or by check indicating "Capital Improvements" on the memo line.
