State Law Prohibits Weapons in a Place of Worship
In keeping with the state law Grace Church prohibits weapons of any type on its premises as well as at any Grace Church sponsored event unless specific written exception has been made beforehand. This general prohibition includes visible or concealed weapons, even those for which the owner has a valid permit. Anyone with such weapon is and will be requested to leave the premises, with a welcome to return without the prohibited item or items.
Missionary Spotlight Missionary of the Month, March 2025: Grant and Liza Rost, Cincinnati Praise for new staff member, Dane, who joined the Cincinnati team. Pray for spring break as Grant and Dane will take 6 athletes to Albania on a mission trip, leaving this Friday, March 7. Pray for Jamie, Nadia, Claire, Maddie, Grace and Lucy (Runners from Xavier),that they would share the gospel boldly and bravely. Summer opportunities with Ultimate Training Camp, where students learn how to apply their faith to their sport.(https://www.ultimatetrainingcamp.com) That more athletes would say yes to going this summer on mission. For trust in God to provide their financial support and work in their hearts in big ways. Pray for Liza who is 7 months pregnant, expecting a girl (Scarlett), for a safe and smooth delivery. That Grant and Liza would trust God with the future concerning jobs, house, and family.
Senior Luncheon
Seniors join us Thursday, March 20, 2025, for our St. Patrick's Day Luncheon at 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Sign-up sheet is in the foyer at the Sign-up Center.
Men's Breakfast
The next mens' breakfast at the church will be this Saturday, March 15, at 8:30 a.m. Men of all ages are encouraged to come.
Ladies Retreat 2025
Ladies Retreat is March 14-15, 2025, in the heart of the Ohio's Amish Country, Millersburg, OH. This will be a sweet time of fellowship and teaching. Our speaker this year is Stacie Patton and the topic is Abide - John 15. Registration is closed. For more information visit the church website or the Church Center app.
Members Class
Our next Members Class will take place March 16, 2025, immediately following the morning worship. To attend this class, please contact the church office. Attending does not necessitate membership, but anyone desiring to become a member of Grace Church needs to go through one of these classes. Mark Your Calendar - AWANA Grand Prix It's time for the AWANA Grand Prix! This year's Grand Prix is for all ages! The race will take place on Saturday April 26, 2025. Inspection starts at 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., the race will begin at 11:30 a.m. Registration will open March 16, 2025. More information can be found at the Welcome Center. Contact Christine Palmer with any questions.
Children's Ministry Needs
Children's Ministries is in need of one more teacher to fill a new Sunday School class, ages 3-4. Teachers and two helpers will share in a rotation for this class. We are also in need of teachers and helpers for this same age group during church hour. Teachers and helpers must be members of GCOR and must complete and pass a background check.
