The Gift of Christmas: Jesus our God
Colossians 1:15-20/ Pastor James

Christmas is about the doctrine of the incarnation, God becoming human. That’s what we sing about during Christmas. Colossians 1:15-20 is a breathtaking roller coaster ride through the doctrine of the incarnation. This week we will look at a couple of the hairpin turns in the text. Then instead of looking so much at the doctrine, we will talk about what it means to us, how it makes our lives different.

Missionaries in China

Today we want to pray the missionaries in East Asia that our church supports him through our Cooperative Program giving. Christians in this area are coming under greater persecution.  Your faithful and abundant giving helps gospel missionaries stay on the field.

How do you weave the message of the Gospel into your everyday life?

Because you attend Mosaic you have access to a series at rightnowmedia.com called “Threads: The Gospel and Person Evangelism” by David Platt that helps think through this question.  Each session includes a family or small group discussion guide.

Log on to RightNowMedia.com and search for this series in order to discover how the Gospel threads are woven into our everyday lives and ministry. You will see our responsibility to demonstrate the truths of the Gospel with the way we live and with how we speak. Then as God provides opportunity, we have the privilege of bringing all of these “intertwining” threads together for the sake of others as we introduce them to Christ, revealing His beauty and glory.

If you do not yet have an account set up through our rightnowmedia.com account email [email protected] to get started.
