Unity and Harmony

Father, in the name of Jesus, this is the confidence that we have in You-that if we ask anything according to Your will You hear us; and because we know that you hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desire of You.

Holy Spirit, teach us how to agree (harmonize together and make a symphony) about anything and everything so that whatever we ask will come to pass and be done for us by our Father in heaven.

As a part of the body of Christ, we will live with tender humility and quiet patience, always demonstrating gentleness and generous love toward one another, especially toward those who may try our patience.

This is the goal—to live in harmony with one another and demonstrate affectionate love, sympathy, and kindness toward other believers. Let humility describe who we are as we dearly love one another. We will never repay evil for evil or retaliate with insults when people insult us. Instead, we will pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called us to do, and He will bless us for doing it.

Father, thank You that Jesus has given to us the glory and honor that You gave Him. I pray that we may all be one, just as You and Jesus are one so that we experience such perfect unity that the world will know that You love Him. Father, I pray Your will is done in earth as it is in heaven. Amen, and so be it.

                  Vision for a Church

"FATHER, in the name of Jesus, we come into Your presence thanking You for___________(name of church).  You have called us to be saints in_________(name of city) and around the world.  As we lift our voices in one accord, we recognize that You are God, and everything was made by and for You.  We call into being those things that be not as though they were.

We thank You that we all speak the same thing. There is no division among us; we are perfectly joined together in the same mind.   Grant unto us, Your representatives here, a boldness to speak Your Word, which You will confirm with signs following.  We thank You that we have workmen in abundance.  Each department operates in the excellence of ministry and intercessions.  We have in our church the ministry gifts for the edifying of this Body till we all come into the unity of faith and knowledge of the Son of God unto a mature person. None of our people will be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine.  We speak the truth in love.

Father, we thank You for the ministry facilities that will more than meet the needs of the ministry.  Thank You for the faithful giving of Your people.  we have more than enough to give food and clothing to those in need.  We welcome the stranger into our church.  We are here to visit the sick and those in jail.  No matter how unimportant they may seem, we purpose to do it for You and in Your name.

We acknowledge that all the authority of the universe has been given to Jesus, the Head of the Church.  We will go in His authority and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  We purpose to faithfully follow all that You have commanded us to do, and we thank You for being with us every day, even to the completion of this age.

We have everything we need to carry out Your Great Commission and reach the ___________(name of city or county) area for Jesus.  Thank You for our missionary teams that go into other nations to make disciples.

We are a people of love as love is poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit.   We thank You that the Word of God is living Big in all of us, and Jesus is Lord!

We are a supernatural church, composed of supernatural people doing supernatural things, for we are laborers together with God.  We thank You for Your Presence among us, and we lift our hands and praise Your holy name!  Amen

Greetings Baker Chapel Saints

As you know, the church leadership is working on the plans and action for the preparation to re-enter the church building.  This takes strategic planning and coordination of all of the church ministries and members.

Pastor Wilson outlined in his letter sent out in May and June, that we cannot successfully plan for the re-entering of the church without the membership volunteering for specific service positions.

We have a survey for each member to take, you can request the survey by email or come by the church office and pick it up.  The due date for the completion of the survey is Monday, June 28th.

Thanking you in advance Membership Ministry
