LUTHER - Movie Screening

Everyone is invited to join us on Thursday, October 12th from 6 - 8:30 pm for a free showing of the movie "Luther." This will be a fun event for an individual, family or small group. Please bring a dessert to share and child care will be provided.

BAPTISM

We are having a baptism celebration November 5th! If you would like to know more about baptism, please let Joel, Bil or Meghan know. It is a great way for you to express publicly that you are a follower of Jesus. We encourage all followers of Jesus to get baptized as a way of showing our commitment to following Him. If you have questions about baptism, please connect with Joel.

FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES

The Sherwood High School Guys FCA meets at Horizon Christian Church at 7 am. It is open to all Sherwood High School athletes.

The group leaders are looking for some help making breakfast available for these young athletes please contact Olivia Wengert or Liz Busby with any questions, sign up to bring a breakfast at http://bit.ly/fcashs.                                       

BAPTISM CELEBRATION & THANKSGIVING FEAST

Mark your calendars for November 5th! Everyone is invited to our fall Baptism Celebration followed by a Thanksgiving Feast with our Crossridge family!

5th SUNDAY

This is just a reminder that October has five Sundays. Offerings given on the fifth Sunday will go towards our benevolence fund unless designated for another another purpose. The benevolence fund is used to help people and ministries in our area who could a use a little help.

GIVING AT CROSSRIDGE

If you would like to give online, simply visit our site and click donate. You can also give in the baskets as they pass by during the service. We believe God wants to care for our needs and give us enough to share with others. Money is most valuable when it is put to work helping people. As the church, it is our privilege to give generously to reach and help those in need - locally, regionally, and abroad.

CRKIDS

This is our ministry to kids from nursery through 5th grade. It is a safe place for kids to feel valued and loved while hearing about Jesus. We have rooms designed for all ages during both services.

MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL:

Every Sunday: Middle School Sunday Morning 10:30-11:30am


Every Sunday: Sunday Nite 6:30-8 pm (Middle School & High School)


Oct. 20-21: TFIO 6 pm until 12:00 noon MS & HS. Cost $35. Bring sleeping bag, pillow, and Bible. Information will be available to parents this week.
